Parents regardless of their gender identification have ceased to give their babies a gender at birth "in bid to challenge society's gender bias". Parents are not revealing the sex of the baby to anyone, dressing them up in gender neutral clothing and using "they/them" pronouns rather than "her" or "him". Their goal is to have their baby grow into their own person without having any societal influence on which gender they would like to be. There has been a lot of backlash as imagined. People are saying that trying to influence the baby's gender is in way influencing them and making them unaware of what is "normal". People are also expressing the discomfort with parents decision to do this because they are worried that they are not letting their kids be kids and exposing them to complicated topics and such a young age. The bill requires the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide case management support to local housing authorities under the VA supported housing program. The program assists veterans who are homeless and their families in finding and sustaining permanent housing for homeless Veterans. The federal budget process occurs in two stages: appropriations and authorizations. This bill is considered authorization, which determines how federal funding should be spent.
